Hey Merton,
Now that you educated me on what they are, did you see the June 2009 edition of Farm Collector magazine. Numerous pictures of various types of oilers. If you have not seen this, I know you would enjoy seeing it.

No Charlie V I missed seeing the magazine. That one of the few magazines I do not get. Hog Oilers are fun!

You know what I find amusing is the amount of people that have never heard of one and when informed they sell like hotcakes at swap meets. Average going price is $50 or more. Saw one go for about $300 in a bidding frenzy at Tulare Ca. last year.

I need to find a copy of the collectors guide book that is talked about in this article. I have just scratched the surface in collecting hog oilers.

You'll find that back then everyone made one. I'll bet there were at least 30 manfacturers. Have fun!
