Title: Minden NV (Ramsden) Show
Post by: GeorgeBest on August 18, 2008, 02:43:13 PM
Anyone go to the Minden show this past weekend?

Actually, I already know one of you were there as I talked to Bill Ramsden on the phone Friday and he had mentioned you were there.

I had planned on going, but a family crisis required that we stay closer to home.

Curious as to how well attended Bill's show was this year.  Is it growing or declining?

The show seems to be dwindling in the past 5 years or so, but according to the gate keepers the attendance is about the same.  I have noticed less tractors, but it seems like more engines show up.
It's still a very enjoyable time.
Still have to get Ramdsen's Titan going...

It seems to me that with high fuel prices you have to expect fewer exhibitors hauling in tractors or items needing large trailers to transport.

I know that I'll probably be limiting my trailer pulling to the shows closer to home.
