Title: LA Case
Post by: RG8800 on July 03, 2009, 12:44:15 AM
Something for the Case guys. This nice looking old LA sold dirt cheap at the auction sale this week. Engine seized but everything was there, good rubber and paint and all the sheet metal was straight. Even had that nice Case eagle emblazoned on the mag. A lot of tractor for $175.

Looks like a nice LA. Had that sold near me I would have had to bring it home. I would have paid close to that price for that good straight hood.
Taking the LA to Greenville,Oh show to run the sawmill this weekend... Gene

Gene, you are right that the LA was a steal at that price. And there was  a time when I might have taken it home just on speculation of re-selling. Plenty more of those kind of deals at that auction sale and a lot of other good stuff that wasn't even auctioned. Suppose it will end up as scrap iron. :(
