Title: 3 Hp Novo
Post by: DaveErnst on December 20, 2008, 02:02:48 PM
Latest cold weather project. The 1 1/2 HP Novo on the table is next. The one in the background is for parts.

Is that a 1.5 hp JD I also see? You can send it to me to use for parts. Mine suffered from a case of exploding magneto.

Nope, I bought that at an auction in Las Vegas sight unseen. It was delivered and it even runs with no tinkering at all.

Nice looking shop Dave!

I think you show more open floor space in that picture than I have in my entire shop.  I've only got trails through too much stuff.  Really need to make cleaning up the shop a goal for the new year.:o

Cluttered? Lok at the other end. It's full of stuff I don't want to move out into the unheated side. There is the 3 and 4  hp Novo, the John Dere thing, box brake, metal rolls and press. I hate trying to do things in the cold, so it stays awhile.
Back to verticals here is a 4hp 1915 era Stover

The 1 1/2 and 3 hp on the same cart. I made the cart several years ago using 30 lb railroad iron and Model T axles. A bit heavy but rolls ok on firm footing.
