I think the best way is disassembly but I would remove all the injectors and put lots of diesel or your favorite penetrating oil in each cylinder for a few days and try turning it over by hand if you can.  Try and rock "back and forth" for best results.

Thanks for the tip.  Don't know how I missed that.  There does seem to be a lot of options.
That tip will really help.

What about waste oil burner?  I have been saving all manor of used oil to either build a waste oil burner or get a low budget commercial unit.  They are popular in my area.  One of my problems is most commercial ones are too big for my small (24 X 32) shop.

ATIS General Tractor Discussion / Forum question (OT)
« on: December 21, 2007, 09:41:26 PM »
Hi all,

I'm new to the forum format.  Is there a way to mark or easily identify the posts I've already read? That was one thing I really liked with the e-mail system.  There was the issue of the message subject not matching message content, especially  with a subject that got a lot of posts, but I learned to "adjust."  I see envelopes of different colors that I thought would help identify the ones I've read but doesn't seem to help me. I would like to just see the new "posts" and not wade through all the one's I've already read. I should probably have put this message in the computer help area but there doesn't seem to me much tractor related "stuff" yet.

Thanks,
Gary
