Title: Field of 'beans
Post by: chaunceyjb on July 22, 2013, 09:13:34 PM
I love this time of year when the crops are really growing.  I took a picture of my lovely field of beans and a close up of them starting to blooms.  My wife (who didn't grow up on a farm) was surprised to see purple blooms on the beans and encouraged me to take the close-up.  Thought you all might enjoy the pictures:

John. Good to see your photos. Good to have another member on the forum. You will see blooms for several weeks now. Mine started about a month ago. Still getting more growth with each new rain.

Good looking crop, John.  Hope it keeps up and they harvest out well.

I posted this earlier, but must not have clicked post.
The auto save had it, so here we go again.

Nice photos - Thanks!  Our beans might have gotten rained out in most fields because it is usually planted behind wheat, which is late coming in from the rain.  Our corn looks great though!
