Mounted a stationary LUC engine with the hood, gathered up a
bell housing that has the clutch fork lever out the top, bought a fender and
drive line from John Boehm and put the thing together. Had to make a
throttle cable and clutch linkage to suit. Expanded metal for a grill, 20 ga
sheetmetal for a driveline cover and she's an extremely ugly running
machine. Expecially with two left fenders and a home made hand crank. I
bought the wrong side fender not knowing how the thing went together, but
that kind of fits with the rear tires someone mounted backward.
John Hall named it "Frankenstein".

How far (how much $$$) are you going with this one? New tires? A paint job worthy of the field or the showgrounds or none at all? Looks like a fun project regardless of how far you go. I think your next project should be dropping a BIG V-8 into a tractor.

No paint, no $$$. Test drive found that the tranny will not stop turning when clutch is released and it cannot be put into gear. Maybe chassis lube grease mixed with the 90wt may give it enuf fiction to stop the cluster or a fabricated driveline brake is in order. The rear end punkin has a cast hole about the size of a orange in the bottom. Above that is the drain plug for the differential. In filling the tranny the seal is so far gone that the oil merely passes through that hole and onto the floor.
So, when doing that seal, I'll fab a driveline brake.  Then a hood ornament.

Just a hood ornament? Maybe some moon hubcaps are in order for the front wheels!:rolleyes:

Spring is here and a lot of farm chores needing done, so now it is not time to focus attention on toys. It was in the way so it now has a temporary new home for the summer.
I still have to fabricate a clutch brake then it will be ready for whatever.....
